Helen Sorensen

Dance Director

Helen began studying dance at age three, and her passion for performance only grew after she hit the stage in that first recital dance, “Bigger Isn’t Better”, and she hasn’t stopped since. After graduating from Jeff High School, where she danced and sang with the First Edition Show Choir for three years, Helen was accepted into the BFA Program at the Ball State University Department of Theatre and Dance. After earning her BFA in dance performance, Helen moved to Chicago to dance with Ardent, a professional contemporary company. Helen has been teaching and choreographing for various teams and groups in Lafayette and West Lafayette for the last couple years, and she is excited to have joined the DMG team!
